“Rachel has a proven track record, and I am proud to work alongside her to help take our efforts to the next level. She has deep roots in Southwest Florida and understands the complexities of our diverse region. Rachel will play a vital role in our signature event, GET FED UP on February 6, 2025,” said Blessings in a Backpack Southwest Florida executive director, Cecilia St. Arnold.
Peacock’s commitment to the community is evident, as she leads projects that make a real difference. Her journey to Blessings in a Backpack began during her tenure as director of development and community relations at the Children’s Advocacy Center. It was there that Cecilia St. Arnold and she identified the potential for a partnership to support the Center’s Pine Manor Afterschool program, food pantry, and main facility. During the next two years, Peacock and St. Arnold worked closely to promote the benefits of collaboration between nonprofits and amplify each organization’s community impact.
“So many incredible nonprofit organizations, like Blessings in a Backpack, tirelessly serve our community. Despite often having small teams, their impact is immense, touching countless lives. I’m thrilled to partner with Blessings in a Backpack to help expand their mission and increase the number of children they feed across our five counties,” said Rachel Peacock.
